27-02-08: BLACKIE COMMITS TO BAY
In recent weeks the club have received several enquiries from clubs about leading goal scorer Neil Black. That is almost inevitable given the form he has displayed this season. Following discussions with the club this week; Blackie has confirmed he wishes to stay with the Bay and has assured us he wants to do his bit to help us push on for the play offs. He admits it is flattering to be attracting interest but he really enjoys playing for us, in particular the support he gets from the fans. He is ambitious and wants to be successful and given the calibre of player in the squad believes he will achieve that at Llanelian Road. He was also quick to praise the progress the club has made off the field and recognizes that the club's ambitions match his own.

Wales last hosted the event in May 2003 when the games were played at Carmarthen, Haverfordwest and Merthyr Tydfil. The Wales squad will be managed by Tony Pennock and assisted by Terry Boyle.
