On 16th July, 2004 Ty Gobaith opened its doors for the very first time. It is now 4 years since we began offering our unique service to families throughout North Wales.
Four years on much has changed, but much has stayed the same in our two children’s hospices Ty Gobaith in Conwy and Hope House in Oswestry:
- We still provide respite & terminal care for seriously-ill children
- We still do not charge families for using our services
- We still depend upon voluntary income to fund our vital work
and we are indebted to everyone who has helped in the past four years.
Our facilities include:
- 4 individual children’s bedrooms
- 3 parent/families rooms
- Multi sensory room
- Computer room
- Therapy room
- Bereavement bedroom and private garden
- Newly built playground
We need to raise £1million a year to deliver the vital services that we offer our children & families and could not do this without the help of all our generous supporters.
